Pipworth Dice Game Score Sheet Template

by ShuffleKit

A printable dice game score sheet for the classic five dice game: Ones to Sixes with a 35 point bonus at 63, then three and four of a kind, a full house, a small and a large straight, five of a kind and chance. The Players sheet holds one game for up to six players, with everyone's name over their column, and the Six Games card holds six games for one player. Every box says how it scores, with an example roll drawn in dice, so a new player can follow along. Type the names in the sheet and they print on every page, or leave them out for a blank pad. Each sheet is 8 × 10 inches and prints on Letter or A4.

What’s in Pipworth Dice Game Score Sheet Template

Two designs: Dice Score Sheet and Six Game Score Card.

Your score sheets live in a sheet, one row each, with a column for every field the designs read: Game, Note, Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player 4, Player 5, Player 6 and Sheet. Six of those rows arrive filled in, so there is something on the design before you type a word.

How to play the five dice game

You need five dice and a pen. The sheet has a column for each player, up to six.

  1. You need five dice and a sheet. Write each player's name at the top of a column, or type the names into the sheet before you print.
  2. On your turn, roll all five dice. You may roll again twice more, keeping the dice you want and rolling the rest, and you can stop after any roll.
  3. After your last roll, pick one empty box in your column and write in what the dice score there. Every turn fills one box, and a roll that does not fit scores 0 in the box you choose, so the game lasts thirteen turns.
  4. In the upper section, Ones to Sixes score the dice showing that number: three 4s in Fours is 12. If those six boxes add up to 63 or more, the same as three of every number, add a bonus of 35.
  5. In the lower section, three of a kind and four of a kind score all five dice. A full house, three of one number and two of another, is 25. A small straight, four numbers in a row, is 30 and a large straight, all five in a row, is 40. Five of a kind is 50, and Chance scores any roll at all.
  6. Every five of a kind after the first one you scored 50 for is worth 100 more: tick a bonus box. Add up both sections when everyone's boxes are full, and the highest grand total wins.

Printing dice score sheets at home

Each page is one score sheet, 8 × 10 inches. On the Hobby plan, export a PDF on Letter or A4 and every row in the sheet comes out as a page of its own, with its game and its players' names printed on it. For a pad, print that page as many times as you need.

Leave crop marks off. Each sheet keeps its own margin, so there is nothing to trim.

Plain printer paper is all a score pad needs. If your printer shrinks the page a little to fit it, the whole sheet shrinks together and every box keeps its room.

Questions about Pipworth Dice Game Score Sheet Template

Everything you need to know before getting started.

How do you get the 35 point bonus?

Score 63 or more across Ones to Sixes. That is what three of every number makes (3 + 6 + 9 + 12 + 15 + 18), so it is the target to aim for: four 6s or four 5s make up for a box that came up short. The sheet has a Total row for the six boxes and a Bonus row under it for the 35.

What counts as a small straight and a large straight?

A small straight is four numbers in a row, 1 2 3 4, 2 3 4 5 or 3 4 5 6, with the fifth die showing anything, and scores 30. A large straight is all five in a row, 1 to 5 or 2 to 6, and scores 40. A large straight can also go in the small straight box if that is the one you still have free.

What happens when you roll five of a kind again?

If you have already scored 50 in Five of a kind, tick a Bonus box for another 100. You still fill a box that turn: the upper box for that number if it is empty, or else any lower box, where a full house, a small straight or a large straight scores its full points. If you had put a 0 in Five of a kind, there is no bonus. Plenty of tables play it more simply, so agree before you start.

What happens when I add Pipworth Dice Game Score Sheet Template to a project?

The two designs, the nine fields and the six sample score sheets are copied into a project of yours, with the fields already pointed at the design. Nothing stays linked to this page afterwards, so the author's later edits never reach your copy.

What size does Pipworth Dice Game Score Sheet Template print at?

Each score sheet is 8 × 10 inches (20.3 × 25.4 cm), so it fits on US Letter or A4 with room round the edge for any home printer. A Players sheet holds one game for up to six players, and a Six Games card holds six games for one player.

Is Pipworth Dice Game Score Sheet Template free?

Yes. Adding it, editing it, filling it with your own cards and playtesting it online are all free. Exporting print files starts on the Hobby plan, and Print & Ship through The Game Crafter is on Indie. No template sits behind a paid plan.

Can I change the designs?

Yes. They land in your project as ordinary layouts, so you can drag an element somewhere else, put your own art behind the frame, restyle the type or rename a field. Edit a design once and every score sheet on it follows.

Can I use my own score sheets instead of the samples?

Yes — the samples are rows in a sheet, and they are there to be overwritten. Type over them, add rows of your own, or bring a CSV and match its headers to the fields.

Can I sell a game made with Pipworth Dice Game Score Sheet Template?

Yes. This one is ours, and you keep commercial rights to what you build from it, crowdfunding and retail included.

Ready to make your own score sheets?

This template is free, and so is the editor it opens in.
