What’s in Chimeby Bunco Score Sheet Template

Two designs: Bunco Score Cards and Bunco Table Tally.

Your score sheets live in a sheet, one row each, with a column for every field the designs read: Game, Note, Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player 4 and Sheet. Six of those rows arrive filled in, so there is something on the design before you type a word.

How to play Bunco

You need three dice for each table and a bell for the head table. The template prints the score cards and the tallies.

  1. Bunco is for twelve players at three tables of four, though any multiple of four works. Partners sit across from each other. Each table needs three dice, a table tally and a score card for every player, and the head table needs a bell.
  2. A set is six rounds, one for each number: in round 1 you roll for 1s, in round 2 for 2s, and so on up to 6s. Every table plays at once, starting when the head table rings the bell.
  3. On your turn, roll all three dice. Each die showing the round's number scores 1 point. Three of the round's number is a bunco, worth 21, and three of any other number scores 5. Keep rolling while you score, then pass the dice to your left.
  4. The scorekeeper at each table writes every turn's points under Us or Them on the table tally. The round ends at every table when a team at the head table reaches 21 and rings the bell.
  5. The team with more points at each table wins the round. Everyone marks W or L for that round on their score card, and a player who rolled a bunco adds it to their Buncos box. A tie is settled with a roll-off.
  6. After every round, players move and change partners: the winners at the head table stay and its losers move down, and the winners at the other tables move up. At the end of the night, count your wins, losses and buncos. Prizes usually go to the most of each.

Printing Bunco score cards at home

Each page is one sheet, 8 × 10 inches. On the Hobby plan, export a PDF on Letter or A4 and every row in the sheet comes out as a page of its own: a row of score cards prints four players' cards, each with their name, and a tally row prints one tally.

Leave crop marks off. The score cards have dashed lines through the gaps between them to cut along, and the tally needs no cutting.

Plain printer paper is all a Bunco night needs. Print a sheet of cards for every four players and a tally for every table.

Questions about Chimeby Bunco Score Sheet Template

Everything you need to know before getting started.

Still have questions? Contact us

How do you keep score in Bunco?

Two ways at once. The table tally counts points: the scorekeeper writes each turn's points under Us or Them, and the team with the higher total wins the round. Each player's score card counts rounds, a W or an L for every one, and the buncos that player rolled. At the end of the night everyone adds up their own card.

How many people do you need for Bunco?

Twelve is the usual number, at three tables of four, and any multiple of four plays the same way: eight at two tables, sixteen at four. A sheet of score cards holds one table's four players, so print a sheet for every four people and a tally for every table.

What does a bunco score?

21 points, for all three dice showing the round's number, such as three 4s in round 4. The player calls out "Bunco!" and marks it on their card. Three of a kind of any other number, three 6s in round 4, scores 5 and is often called a mini bunco.

What happens when I add Chimeby Bunco Score Sheet Template to a project?

The two designs, the seven fields and the six sample score sheets are copied into a project of yours, with the fields already pointed at the design. Nothing stays linked to this page afterwards, so the author's later edits never reach your copy.

What size does Chimeby Bunco Score Sheet Template print at?

Each sheet is 8 × 10 inches (20.3 × 25.4 cm), so it fits on US Letter or A4 with room round the edge for any home printer. The score cards come four to a sheet, each about 3.5 × 4.5 inches, with dashed lines to cut along, and the table tally takes a whole sheet.

Is Chimeby Bunco Score Sheet Template free?

Yes. Adding it, editing it, filling it with your own cards and playtesting it online are all free. Exporting print files starts on the Hobby plan, and Print & Ship through The Game Crafter is on Indie. No template sits behind a paid plan.

Can I change the designs?

Yes. They land in your project as ordinary layouts, so you can drag an element somewhere else, put your own art behind the frame, restyle the type or rename a field. Edit a design once and every score sheet on it follows.

Can I use my own score sheets instead of the samples?

Yes — the samples are rows in a sheet, and they are there to be overwritten. Type over them, add rows of your own, or bring a CSV and match its headers to the fields.

Can I sell a game made with Chimeby Bunco Score Sheet Template?

Yes. This one is ours, and you keep commercial rights to what you build from it, crowdfunding and retail included.
