What’s in Stilecroft Printable Phase Cards Template
Two designs: Phase List and Phase Cards.
Your phase sheets live in a sheet, one row each, with a column for every field the designs read: Game, Note, Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player 4, Player 5, Player 6 and Sheet. Four of those rows arrive filled in, so there is something on the design before you type a word.

How to use the phase list and phase cards
You need a deck made for phase rummy, with wild cards and skips, scissors for the cards and a pen.
- Print the Phase List once and leave it in the middle of the table, where everyone can check what a phase needs before laying it down.
- Print a sheet of Phase Cards for each game, cut the six cards apart along their outlines and give one to each player. Type the names in before you print, or write them on the line.
- Every hand, a player tries to lay down the next phase on their card. When they do, they tick its box at the end of the hand, and next hand they go for the one below it.
- A player who did not lay down their phase leaves the box empty and tries the same phase again next hand, so the cards show at a glance who is on which phase.
- The first player to tick the tenth box wins. Keep the running scores on the score sheet if you want a tie broken by the lower score.
Printing the phase list and phase cards at home
Each page is one sheet, 8 × 10 inches. On the Hobby plan, export a PDF on Letter or A4 and every row in the sheet comes out as a page of its own, with its title and its players' names printed on it.
Leave crop marks off. Each sheet keeps its own margin, and the phase cards have their own outlines to cut along.
One Phase List lasts for years on card stock. Print a new sheet of phase cards for each game, or slip them into card sleeves and tick with a dry-erase pen.
Questions about Stilecroft Printable Phase Cards Template
Everything you need to know before getting started.
Still have questions? Contact us
What are the ten phases?
In order: two sets of three; a set of three and a run of four; a set of four and a run of four; a run of seven; a run of eight; a run of nine; two sets of four; seven cards of one colour; a set of five and a set of two; and a set of five and a set of three. The Phase List shows an example hand for each one.
Can a wild card fill a gap in a run?
Yes. A wild stands in for any number in a set or a run, and for any colour in the colour phase, so 3 4 5 wild 7 8 9 is a run of seven. A skip can never be part of a phase.
What happens when I add Stilecroft Printable Phase Cards Template to a project?
The two designs, the nine fields and the four sample phase sheets are copied into a project of yours, with the fields already pointed at the design. Nothing stays linked to this page afterwards, so the author's later edits never reach your copy.
What size does Stilecroft Printable Phase Cards Template print at?
Each sheet is 8 × 10 inches (20.3 × 25.4 cm), so it fits on US Letter or A4 with room round the edge for any home printer. The Phase List holds all ten phases with an example of each, and the Phase Cards sheet holds six cards to cut apart, one per player.
Is Stilecroft Printable Phase Cards Template free?
Yes. Adding it, editing it, filling it with your own cards and playtesting it online are all free. Exporting print files starts on the Hobby plan, and Print & Ship through The Game Crafter is on Indie. No template sits behind a paid plan.
Can I change the designs?
Yes. They land in your project as ordinary layouts, so you can drag an element somewhere else, put your own art behind the frame, restyle the type or rename a field. Edit a design once and every phase sheet on it follows.
Can I use my own phase sheets instead of the samples?
Yes — the samples are rows in a sheet, and they are there to be overwritten. Type over them, add rows of your own, or bring a CSV and match its headers to the fields.
Can I sell a game made with Stilecroft Printable Phase Cards Template?
Yes. This one is ours, and you keep commercial rights to what you build from it, crowdfunding and retail included.
Ready to make your own phase cards?
This template is free, and so is the editor it opens in.
